It's not a real high end belt, but have been wearing it for the last two weeks. I was only able to stash about $1,500 worth of Japanese Yen in the belt, but that was enough. My only complaint is that I was wearing a small backpack pretty consistently and it has been very warm in Japan. Apparently, the brown stain from the belt was transferring to the backpack and coming off onto my shirt leaving a brown stain. Not really very noticeable, but undesirable for sure.The photographer deserves a bonus for the picture makes the woven detailing more dramatic and appealing than in reality. It is a poorly stamped impression of a woven pattern. The belt runs much smaller than advertised as it was marked with the inches but thankfully I ordered a larger size based upon other reviews and I can wear it in the last notch. As stated in other reviews the storage compartment is very small and the zipper appears fragile. It will be interesting to see how durable the belt is. I think the belt is overrated in the reviews for its cost. I feel it is slightly overpriced for its quality and Made in China origin. I am more pleased with my PacSafe purchase so I recommend prospective buyers check out that line of products.I read the reviews and ordered a belt 4" larger than my waist size - I have a 32" waist and ordered a 36" belt. It fits PERFECTLY! Also, from the reviews, I was concerned about the durability of the zipper. I have stuffed a total of 3 Benjamin Franklins and 4 50-Euro bills in the pouch and so far no problems. I have worn the belt for the past 4 days, to break it in for my trip, and have encountered zero problems.Note that this is a basket-weave like belt - not true basket weave. It is stamped to look similar to basket weave, which, IMHO, makes the belt stronger than if it were real basket-weave.We were warned about pickpockets at The Louvre while visiting Paris, but never ran into any. I kept $50's in my belt, only as a last resort, however. It is hard to access the money unless you disappear into a washroom to take it out of the belt. Still not as good as a pouch worn around the neck under your shirt, but it is a good part of the emergency backup plan. Belt fit fine, wore well. I believe it was a good purchase. Too bad it is made in China, not the USA.I'm a 36 waist, but the belt was a little short (down to the last two holes with almost not enough tab to tuck into the loop). I would order a 38 next time. As far as the money compartment - it is very narrow, but I'd say you could stuff 10 bills in there - you just have to tri-fold them (like a letter), then fold in half the long way (not necessarily in that order).the first one was too small (smaller than 36) and this one is too big (larger than 40) but they charge for returns so I am keeping the second one. The belt is too thin and the zipper is visible on the outside. This is machine tooled and not very deep but it will work until I can afford an American Made Belt. I am tired of buying inferior products from China...The belt is beautiful and appears to be of good quality. The only real problem is the zipper on the money pocket is of such a fine grade of material that it may not take much abuse, in fact it requires very careful touches to operate. For the money I would by again....I purchased this belt in order to travel with an emergency cash stash. The belt looked great and appeared sturdy. I matched the belt size to my current one and it arrived too small. The belt was stamped with the size that I ordered so I'm not sure if it was my mistake or not. I returned the belt and got one from a local store.
