Description

Error notes continue to carve an ever larger niche in paper money collecting. This revised reference offers collectors a comprehensive catalog of known US paper money errors and includes examples of each error, and detailed information on paper money printing. Updated values are provided in up to three conditions. Errors are thoroughly described and depicted, including overprint, folding, and first and second printing errors. Historical photographs from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing reveal rarely seen images of US paper money workers inside the printing office.

This is the book we're all using now. If you have any serious interest in U.S. currency and errors, you'll really need this. The hobby works best when we're all informed. What I like the most is that there's a summary chart on the relative rarity of BEP errors. Prices are never accurate because values change with inflation and with collector demand. However, the relative rarities remain.
